Crazy-Freight Australia Express – Compensation Policy

Please carefully read our compensation policy before shipping. All compensation claims are subject to our official terms and conditions. By placing an order with us, you are deemed to have accepted our compensation policy unless otherwise stated in writing.

Due to the multiple handling and transit stages involved in cross‑border shipping, risks such as cargo detention, loss, damage, or delay caused by force majeure or non‑human factors remain possible. To protect our customers’ interests, and in accordance with the Warsaw Convention, the Hague Protocol, and our company’s actual operating conditions, we hereby announce the following compensation standards:

Air Freight Products:

If goods are lost before departure from China, compensation will be AUD 10/kg, and the freight charges will be refunded.

If goods are lost after departure and before final delivery, compensation will be AUD 10/kg, with no refund of freight charges.

Sea Freight Products:

1. Charged by weight (per kg):

If goods are lost before departure from China, compensation will be AUD 5/kg, and the freight charges will be refunded.

If goods are lost after departure and before final delivery, compensation will be AUD 5/kg, with no refund of freight charges.

2. Charged by volume (per CBM):

If goods are lost before departure from China, compensation will be AUD 100/CBM for the lost portion only, and the freight charges will be refunded.

If goods are lost after departure and before final delivery, compensation will be AUD 100/CBM for the lost portion only, with no refund of freight charges.

3. Courier delivery (last‑mile):

If goods are lost after handover to the local Australian courier, compensation will be subject to the courier company’s own compensation policy. We will assist with the claim process, but freight charges will not be refunded.

4. Customs inspections and related issues:

We do not provide compensation for damage or delay caused by customs inspections. We also do not assume liability for any consequential losses arising from cargo detention. Compensation will not be provided for delays or package damage during transit. Sensitive goods seized or confiscated during customs inspection will not be compensated.

Important Notes:

For all shipping channels, the delivery receipt or the carrier’s official POD (Proof of Delivery) is the sole valid proof of delivery. If the recipient signs for the package but later claims non‑receipt or partial receipt, no compensation will be provided.

Reminder: We strongly recommend that customers purchase additional insurance for their shipments, especially for high‑value items. All compensation claims will be strictly handled in accordance with our company standards, and we do not accept claims exceeding the limits set forth in this policy.
